Purchased at an auction, the buggy required minor restoration. Mr. Kamaldien has dedicated his time and
effort to keep the buggy as original as the day it was made in the early 1900's.
After extensive research and corresponding, it was discovered that this is the only original 1905 "Doctor's
Buggy" in South Africa. The rubber tyres are of the first manuafactured by Firestone to replace the metal rims.
There are many replicas of the original design, but it is the under carriage and the springs that differentiate
the original from the replica.
